The MOT test is a legal requirement for all cars and
vehicles over 3 years old. The purpose of the test is to ensure that
your vehicle meets the minimum safety requirements set by VOSA. Without
a valid MOT certificate your insurance policy and road tax could become
invalidated and therefore you may face not only a fixed penalty notice
for not having a valid MOT certificate, but also receive penalty points.
Your vehicle may also be seized and you will have to pay £105 for
recovery from the police compound.
At C & P Motor Services
Limited a fair price fair test policy is in operation, which is just
what it says; you pay the right price and you get the right result.
Class 4 MOTs are carried out by us, which incorporates cars and
lightweight commercial vehicles up to 3000kg. If you are not sure which
category your vehicle is in, telephone us or drop in and we can tell
you. We offer MOT testing by an appointment system, where you can wait
or choose to drop off your car and collect it later.
